Dr Wayne Reid has a distinguished background in
He has over 30 years experience in Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical
Psychology specialising in medicolegal assessment in traumatic brain injury,
forensic neuropsychology and medical negligence associated with brain injury,
dementia and Parkinson's disease. In addition he has extensive experience in
treatment and rehabilitation of children and adults with
impairment, assessment of adults with ADHD, memory disorders,
mental competence and testamentary capacity, cognitive
behaviour therapy in
the treatment of anxiety, mood disorders and
neuropsychological assessment of
mental illness and drug and alcohol abuse.
In 1991 he won a prestigious international research award in Rome. Since that time
he has published research papers in international journals, has been invited guest
speaker and has presented workshops at international and national neuropsychology
conferences. He won a further international Cornelli award in Alzheimer’s and
Parkinson’s disease in Prague Czech Republic in 2009 and in 2012 he received an
award of distinction from the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Neuropsychologists and he was made a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society.
